Cris Wehr

Company Founder and Managing Director of Pinnacle Workplace Consultants Pty Ltd, Cris Wehr is a qualified Physiotherapist with more than 20 years experience in occupational health and safety. With a strong passion to prevent workplace injury and a focus on providing clients tangible high quality results, Cris has established Pinnacle Workplace Consultants as a recognised leader in the provision of tailor made, integrated injury prevention and wellness programs. Her commitment to innovation is evident by the development of Pinnacle Performance – Strategies for the Office Environment Software Program and SUMMIT – Online Musculoskeletal Risk Management Tool.


Heidi Turbill

Heidi is the Principal Consultant with qualifications as a Certified Professional Ergonomist and Occupational Therapist. Her extensive experience over her 23 year career has provided the opportunity to work both in Australia and USA to consult with a large cross-section of industries including local and state government departments, the wine industry, utilities sector, retail, corporate, healthcare, manufacturing, printing industries, drilling and abattoirs. She also has extensive experience in outpatient hand therapy and occupational rehabilitation which has strengthened her ability to identify MSD risk factors and provide early intervention services. 

Heidi currently provides an array of injury prevention, training and specialist consultation services to assist companies/organisations with the identification of workplace hazards and implementation of effective control strategies. She has extensive experience in conducting manual task risk assessments, developing job dictionaries, providing comprehensive training in our Injury Prevention tools and for site Manual Task Coaches, and consulting on ergonomic design and equipment solutions for work areas and tasks. She also has spoken at a number of seminars on workplace injury prevention topics.

Heidi’s strengths lie in her ability to relate to a wide range of people, listen to all stakeholders and identify the critical issues related to MSD risk. This allows her to facilitate fast and effective solutions within the work place meeting the needs of all parties.



Sara Warren

Sara is a Senior Consultant with qualifications as a Physiotherapist and Ergonomist. With more than 30 years’ experience in the Work, Health and Safety field, she has serviced a wide range of industries from heavy industry, healthcare to corporate services. Sara is a Nationally Accredited Manutention Trainer in manual task training, holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training (TAA40104) and is currently completing a Diploma in Work Health and Safety. She is an active member of many industry associations including the Human Factors and Ergonomic Society of Australia (SA Branch), Australian Physiotherapy Association and in the past was the National Chair, Australian Association for the Manual Handling of People Inc. She has extensive experience in facilitating injury prevention, risk management and manual handling training programs and performing a range of ergonomic assessments. Her interest and skills are focussed on preventing musculoskeletal disorders in the workplace and assisting organisations to develop and implement manual handling management systems. 


Tom Slowinski

Tom is a Senior Consultant with qualifications as a Physiotherapist and Ergonomist. He has past experience in clinical practice and orthopaedic rehabilitation, and now focuses primarily in the areas of occupational health, injury prevention and workplace ergonomics. Tom holds a particular interest in the areas of injury prevention and ergonomic design. He believes in a collaborative approach to workplace safety, and enjoys working with employees / employers in delivering outcome driven programs and services. He has experience in a variety of industries, from breweries and construction sites, to oil and gas rigs and underground mines.


Susan Mitchell

Susan is a Senior Consultant/Physiotherapist who re-joins Pinnacle in 2016 after 5 years in the United Kingdom, having previously worked with the company from 2003-2010. She has over 25 years experience as a Physiotherapist with additional qualification in OH&S (Grad. Dip.) and, Workplace Assessment and Training (Cert IV). She is passionate about training and coaching people to move safely and be proactive with their health. Susan's training sessions are usually marked by laughter and practical activities, but this light hearted approach is underpinned by extensive theoretical knowledge and ongoing commitment to improving the services we offer. She also provides injury prevention services including manual task risk assessments, ergonomic assessments and job dictionaries for a range of organisations and industry groups.

Susan has worked across many industries including Steel, Rail, Healthcare, Aged Care and Wine. In the UK she provided treatment and training for Councils, Diageo and Private Clients, and was a Core Group Member of the Scottish Manual Handling Forum as well as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the National Back Exchange (NBE). She is also a member of the Australia Physiotherapy Association and the Occupational Health Physiotherapists Australia, has been an Accredited Manutention Trainer and presented at local and National Conferences in Australia and the UK on a range of topics.


Russell Turbill

Russell is a Consultant with qualifications as a Physiotherapist who holds a Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment. With over 20 years of experience in delivering functional and empowering results to his clients, Russell’s expertise lies in injury prevention education, orthopaedic prevention and rehabilitation. Russell has a particular interest in conducting wellness programs and encouraging workplaces to take a pro-active approach to improving the health status of everyone in their organisation.


Sophie Cocks

Sophie is a Consultant with qualifications as an Occupational Therapist. Prior to joining Pinnacle Workplace Consultants, Sophie worked in the mining industry with a focus on injury prevention, ergonomics and wellbeing projects.  She currently facilitates injury prevention, risk management and manual handling training programs across a variety of industries. Sophie enjoys working collaboratively with companies to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and improve worker wellbeing through the use of outcome driven programs and services. 


Tessa Thurston

Tessa is a Consultant with qualifications as an Exercise Physiologist, having more recently completed Level 1 – Wellness Coaching and a Certificate in Nutrition. Tessa has extensive experience assisting clientele with exercise prescription for musculoskeletal conditions and chronic disease as well as working in the occupational health and rehabilitation industries. She holds a particular passion for workplace health & wellness and injury prevention. Her knowledge and expertise has assisted organisations to improve their wellbeing by implementing innovative and sustainable initiatives. These have included screening programs, wellness workshops, individual consultations, practical healthy eating events and workplace activity challenges to name a few.


Rosemary Swart

Rosemary is a Registered Nurse with a Masters in Nursing and over 20 years experience in the heath care industry. Before joining Pinnacle, she worked as a Senior Consultant in the Safety and Quality Unit at Royal Adelaide Hospital where she managed site specific and national projects focused on continuous quality improvement. She developed quality systems designed to improve health outcomes and health service provision. Rosemary brings to Pinnacle expertise in project management, system development, informatics and data and outcome analysis.


Rachelle Werner

With a degree in Human Movement and 12 years experience in administration, customer service and business management, Rachelle plays an important role in the continued improvement and direction of Pinnacle service delivery. Her enthusiastic approach to work / life balance, health and wellbeing, commitment to customer service and determination to provide excellent results compliment the existing Pinnacle team and philosophy.
